Community Awareness Program: Cyber Crime & Trauma Prevention
The NCJP Gujranwala office conducted an awareness program on cybercrime and trauma prevention at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (Mandala Bag), St. Mark’s Church (Chandra Kola), St. Francis Catholic Church (Droop), and St. Peter’s Church (Kapok). Facilitator Father Emmanuel Ahmed led the sessions, which educated men, women, and children on online safety, responsible digital behavior, and the emotional impact of trauma.
Participants learned about privacy protection, cyber laws, and coping mechanisms for trauma using pamphlets and posters. The community’s positive response highlighted the importance of such programs in building a safer and more informed society.
